Features:

Laminated veneer lumber is an engaged wood product that usemultiple layers of thin wood assembled with adhesives. It offersseveral advantages over typical milled lumber: it is stronger,straighter, and more uniform. It is much less likely thanconventional lumber to warp, twist, bow, or shrink due to itscomposite nature. Made in a factory under controlledspecifications, lvl products allow users to reduce the onsitelabor. They are typically used for headers, beams, rimboards, andedge-forming material.
It is similar in appearance to plywood without crossbands and istypically rated by the manufacturer for elastic moduli are 1.8, 1.9and 2.0 million psi, and common allowable bending stress values are2800 and 3000 psi.
